Evelyn Scott School is now catering for students from preschool right through to Year 10.

The new senior campus is the first high school in the Molonglo Valley and has capacity for up to 600 students from years 7 to 10.

Evelyn Scott School is a zero emissions school. It is fully electric and is supported by solar panels to generate onsite renewable energy. The design includes recycled materials as well as energy- and water-efficient systems. The school teaches sustainable practices with students responsible for chickens and vegetable gardens. The grounds feature many natural spaces, including a nature play area.

A purpose-built Community Room is available for the whole community to use. It is a family friendly space to help create a connection between school and home. Families can use it for meetings, and it can also be used for lunchtime and after-school club activities.

Students enjoy indoor and outdoor learning spaces. Natural light, air flow and connection to the outdoors are features of the design. There are also speciality learning environments and age-appropriate play areas. Students can ride their bicycles to school with secure bike parking and storage.

Students and the community can play soccer, rugby league or rugby union on the school oval. Two cricket nets and two basketball/netball courts are also available. The large gym is suitable for roller derby, basketball, futsal, netball and volleyball.

Evelyn Scott School is open to students living in Denman Prospect, Whitlam, Molonglo, Coombs and Wright.
