Woolley Street Dickson

New lighting and improved public spaces have made Woolley Street Dickson a safer, more accessible and attractive destination for dining and entertainment.

Woolley Street is the culinary epicentre of Dickson, drawing people from all over Canberra and welcoming many of our visitors. Revitalising this street was an important project for our community and will ensure that Dickson remains a distinctive dining and cultural destination.

The Woolley Street 'makeover' has injected new life and atmosphere into this much-loved precinct and now invites opportunities for cultural events.

Project benefits

The community can enjoy the following Woolley Street improvements:

• enhanced night-time ambience and safety with new lighting
• more space for arts and culture events, like markets and live music
• upgraded crossings, new street furniture, shade trees and garden beds.
