Construction for the Florey Oval Refresh project commenced on Monday 4 September 2023. This refresh of part of the oval will create an engaging space for the students at Florey Primary School to learn and play, and for the local community to relax, exercise and connect.
The design was developed in consultation with Florey Primary School, the local community and representatives of the Ngunnawal community, who provided the design team with feedback and ideas.

This new play and learning space will be ready in Term 1 2024 for the community and school to enjoy.
Construction will begin in July 2023.

- an accessible and well-designed space that allows people to meet, play and connect, and
- an engaging outdoor educational play space for Florey Primary School students.
