A new emergency services station in Acton will support the central Canberra community.

The Acton station will provide ACT Ambulance Service and ACT Fire & Rescue staff with modern infrastructure that supports their work and wellbeing.

The new station will make sure our growing Canberra community has appropriate access to emergency services and that fast response times are maintained.

The new Emergency Services Station site is located between Clunies Ross Street and Parkes Way in Acton.

A Request for Tender for Acton Station construction was released in December 2022. The construction contract was awarded to Shaw Building Group in March 2023

Construction is underway and the station is expected to be completed by late 2024.
