Have your say

Consultation for this infrastructure project is closed.

A larger and modern interchange will improve bus services and connections in and out of Woden. It will also meet the demand of increasing numbers of commuters as the community grows.

The new interchange will be light rail enabled with space for an expanding bus network.

In response to community feedback, recent design additions to the new interchange will include:

  • 89 new trees
  • Secure bike enclosures
  • Toilets
  • More weather protection canopies
  • Drinking fountains
  • Water bowls for dogs
  • High quality paving in front of the main building

Platform seating will have more than two metres of shelter and glazing surrounding three sides down to ground level.

The new interchange design considers the safety of all users. Wide footpaths will accommodate both pedestrians and cyclists and provide a direct connection to the high quality C4 cycle route that runs parallel with the interchange less than 100 metres to the east.
