Upgrades to Gundaroo Drive will double the number of lanes in both directions. This will improve travel times and safety.

This three-phase upgrade is between Ginninderra Drive and the Barton Highway.

Key features of the project include:

  • 2 lanes in each direction between Ginninderra Drive and the Barton Highway
  • 6.4 kilometres of new on-road cycle lanes
  • new intersections with traffic lights at Dumas Street and Owen Dixon Drive

Funding for this project is provided by the ACT and Australian Governments. It is part of the Commonwealth's Investment Road and Rail Program.
